Behind the Maskas Precision Knives name is Seth Turner
I am a full time mechanical engineer with a passion for cars, knives, and guns. Having worked in an industrial environment rich with machine tools and equipment my entire career, I feel perfectly at home behind the wheel of a Bridgeport mill. With an eye for precision and dedication to perfection, my knives will not disappoint. Working with my hands started at a very young age for me. At 3yrs old I received my first drum set and began to teach myself how to play. At 15 I started building cars which led into a long term hobby of building and racing cars, specifically fox body mustangs. During my school years I worked both part and full time as a mechanic. I did a short stint as a fly out mechanic for an AMLS race team then began my professional career as a mechanical engineer. I have always worked in industrial environments where I was able to see products through the stages of raw materials to finished products. There is always a pocket knife on me for work but it was in 2017 when I fell in love with the custom knife scene. After going to Blade Show I started designing my own knife in CAD and making prototypes from wood. I showed these to a dear friend and well, the rest is history. I owe my start to the Barajas brothers for believing in me and showing me the way. For that I am always thankful.
Behind the Maskas Precision Jewelry name is Andrea Turner
I am a full time purchasing manager who took up jewelry making to actually spend more time with my husband, in the shop, while he makes knives. Sharing the same interests as Seth, I decided to see what works of art I could create out of the beautiful materials used on custom knives. As I started creating, my QA inspector (Seth) figured out I have a knack for this and pushed me to continue. I enjoy working with these exotic materials to hand craft wearable EDC items for everyone to enjoy.
